“Life and Death Match” between Japan and Hongkong slipped out Hongkong from group 1 at the end. Chan Yan Kit who supposed to cope 1 point failed to fulfill the mission since he lost momentum at the edge of 1 set. Thrilling behind 18-20, Chan equals the score 20-all with his beautifully net winner. But two errors that he make finally gave this game to Sasaki. Either in women’s doubles, Wang and Zhou who defeated Europe #1, Kamilla/Lena obviously out from expectation. Against semifinalist Olympic 2008, they can’t compared the match with lack of defense. With this result, Hongkong will replace Thailand position in group 2.
