Badminton Open Day Broekpolder
Wednesday, April 27 axis of 15.00 - 17.00 hours there will be an OPEN DAY ABC badminton court sports hall in the Water District Broekpolder in Beverwijk.
Admission is free and open days will mainly be dedicated to the youth. But both young and old is welcome to come and meet with the sport. During the open days are available and qualified coaches with a few interesting projects can test a badminton some for you. Especially for the children is a consumption away and there will be a demonstration by children who play badminton all sports. Rackets and shuttles are available for that day, you do so just in sportswear to come.
Are you after this open day become enthusiastic and want more tests of the badminton game? Then you can apply for a test Mon Five Wednesdays in the month of June with the closing hours of 16.00-17.00 a nice tournament. One month trial included tournament costs € 25, -.
ABC is a new badminton club badminton in the Broekpolder. From September 2011 the first season starts and you can sign them. There will be three groups start: 6-11 years of childhood, youth and seniors of 12-19 years. Every new member gets a badminton racket badminton behalf of ABC.

South Korea’s Park Sung Hwan became the first player to march into the men’s singles semi-finals in the US$500,000 Yonex-Sunrise BWF World Super Series Masters Finals.
The lanky Korean battled for an hour before beating last year's runner-up and second seed Peter Gade Christensen 21-12, 7-21, 21-15 for his second win in Group B which assured him of a place in the last four. Sung Hwan beat Thailand's Boonsak Polsana 28-26, 21-18 on Wednesday.
Christensen, who beat compatriot Jan Jorgensen in his first match, will have to beat Boonsak tomorrow for a top two finish in the group and a place in the semi-finals. Boonsak also hauled himself back on track when he outplayed Jorgensen 21-9, 21-18 in 33 minutes.
“Things did not go right for me today. It’s okay. I lost to a better player. Park took full advantage of the strong draft in the stadium," said Christensen.
“I happened to be on the wrong side of the draft twice but I tried my best. All credit to Park for making good choices. This is the

Results Day 6 Sudirman Cup 2009 Thailand Retrives Momentum, Hongkong Slipped Out
Play Offs round for group 2 has been completed in first session. Rank from 1-8 has been declared and Thailand successfully retrieves their momentum to rejoin group 1 after beating Russia 3-0. In second session, Hongkong slipped out from group 1 after ‘life and death match’ against Japan.

Play Off Group 2 (#1-2) : Thailand vs Russia 3-0
XD : Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam bt Alexandr Nikoleanko/Valeria Sorokina 21-17, 12-21, 21-16.
MS : Boonsak Ponsana bt Stanislav Pukhov 21-8, 16-21, 21-15.
WS : Salakjit Ponsana bt Ella Diehl 21-18, 21-14.

WD : Kamilla Rytter Juhl/Lena Frier Kristiansen beat Jenny Wallwork/Donna Kellogg 21-15, 10-21, 21-15.
Although this match has nothing effect for both of team, Denmark still keep the cycle with their best format. Men’s Singles and Women’s Doubles were two of the best matches. Lost in 2nd set, the Danish still keep up the heat and won the final set. They’re really deserves for #5 position.
