Today was the start of Sudirman Cup 2009, the World Mixed Team Badminton Championships, being held in Guangzhou Gymnasium of Guangzhou, China until Sunday, 17 May.
Malaysia played their first game against Korea but lost 2-3. Both Malaysia’s points came from Lee Chong Wei and Wong Mew Choo while all three doubles pairs lost to their respective opponent.
